FIDC is inscribed in a long creation, animation and strengthening process of a Network Platform of the Civil Society for the Democratization of Development Cooperation of the Third World Peoples and of the North/South International Relationships.

  In that process two dimensions are identified:

• One for being an instance that integrates social networks (in open relationship) - in Latin America, Africa, Asia and Europe - with international, regional, national and sectoral presence, during the period ranging in-between forums...

• The FIDC biannual editions, as a space of meeting and knowledge, analysis and debate, exchange and work for the drafting of an International Action Plan.

  Both dimensions try to contribute to the advance in the acknowledgement and implementation of all human rights for all human beings; and they are summed up as articulation proposal for the social and political incidence.
