The representatives of participant countries in the first meeting of the Regional Conference on Population and Development from Latin America and the Caribbean, held in Montevideo, August 12 – 15, 2013 (…);

Decide to undertake the following priority measures identified in the Draft Regional Agenda on Population and Development for Latin America and the Caribbean for the period after 2014, to strengthen the implementation of the Program of Action from Cairo and its follow up process;

A. Full integration of the population and its dynamic regarding sustainable development with equality and respect for the human rights.

B. Rights, needs, responsibilities and demands from children, adolescents and youth in general.

C. Ageing, social protection and social and economic challenges.

D. Universal access to sexual and sexual reproductive services.

E. Gender equality.

F. International migration and the protection to human rights for all migrant people.

G. Territorial inequality, space mobility and vulnerability.

H. Indigenous peoples: intercultural aspects and rights.

I. Afro descendents: rights and the fight against racism and racial discrimination

J. Framework for the implementation of the future regional agenda on population and development

K. Follow up recommendations
