Description: Results obtained in the contest.

The Latin American radio production contest "Historias de Cerca para Escucharse (de) Lejos" (Stories from close to be heard from a far place), called by the Training Program of AMARC ALC, the Magazine Bostezo Radio and ALER, under the auspices of the Spanish International Development Cooperation Agency issued a final verdict voiced by the jury formed by Jordi Coll (Radio Godella), Mónica Valdés (AMARC ALC), María Angélica Rosas (ALER) and Paco Inclán (Bostezoradio).

The three awards were granted to the following radio stations:

- El Churo Comunicación (Quito, Ecuador), for its program “Rebelión de Bocas”.

- Communication collective Mapurincé (Tuchin, Colombia), for its program “Tesoro Zenú”.

- Radio La Colifata (Buenos Aires, Argentina), for its program “Seriedad y Normalidad”.

The programs of the radio stations that got the awards as well as those who were in the final round of the competition might be heard in: http://www.bostezoradio.com/concurs... .

The 125 audios from 61 radio stations from eleven Latin American countries (plus two transnational projects) opted for the award, called to spread and create awareness on the necessary action of communication you undertake from your radio stations and communication collectives.

The event constituted a collective learning process as well as an opportunity to know about trends, themes and narrations within a pluricultural environment of community and popular radios in the continent; also, it was an excuse to start a dialogue with the cooperation of Bostezoradio, ALER, AMARC ALC and Radio Godella during the implementation of the contest. Now comes the task of spreading these works and share them with the wide network of radio producers.

Congratulations to the awarded radio stations and many thanks to all radio stations that participated in the contest.
